Mid-Market: S&P/ASX 200 Trading Higher By 0.13%; Lifted by Utilities and Materials

Utilities and Materials sectors are the top 2 gaining sectors, gaining 0.60% and 0.52% in their index values. On the other hand, the Information Technology and Industrials sector was the top losing sector, declining 1.65% and 0.61% in their index values.

West African Resources Limited (ASX: WAF) and De Grey Mining Limited (ASX: DEG) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 3.048% and 2.800% in their stock prices. • Healius Limited’s shares have experienced a 31% decrease, currently priced at $1.26, following the completion of a $154 million share offer at $1.20 per share.
• Bubs, the infant formula group, has temporarily halted its shares as part of plans to raise capital for its US expansion. Share trading will resume on November 24.
• Lovisa, the teenage jewelry retailer, is observing a 4.3% decline at $17.48 due to a drop in per-store sales during the first half of FY24.
• Oil prices remain relatively stable as traders await decisions from OPEC and its allies during their upcoming meeting, unsure if market intervention will occur.
• The Dow closed with a 0.18% decrease, the S&P 500 with a 0.20% decrease, and the NASDAQ with a 0.59% decrease.
• The Hang Seng is down by 0.25%, and the FTSE 100 is down by 0.19% today.
