Michael OKronley Appointed as CEO of NOVONIX.

NOVONIX Limited (ASX: NVX) has named Michael O’Kronley as its new Chief Executive Officer, with his appointment taking effect from 19 May 2025. Mr O’Kronley brings over three decades of experience in the automotive sector, including 15 years focused on lithium-ion battery and materials innovation. Previously, he was the CEO of Ascend Elements, where he led a remarkable increase in the company’s value by US$1.6 billion over a five-year period.

Admiral Robert J Natter, Chairman of NOVONIX, conveyed strong confidence in Mr O’Kronley’s ability to lead, emphasizing his background in manufacturing, operational management, and scaling critical mineral production. Mr O’Kronley expressed his excitement to contribute to NOVONIX’s efforts in building a robust graphite supply chain within North America. He takes over from Mr Robert Long, who had been serving as Interim CEO since January 2025 and will now resume his duties as Chief Financial Officer.
