MetalsTech provided March 2023 quarterly activities report highlights

May 01, 2023

In the March 2023 Quarterly Activities Report, MetalsTech Limited (ASX: MTC) announced that surface drilling and underground diamond drilling were ongoing at the Sturec Gold Mine. The goal of the drilling program at the Sturec Gold Mine was to expand the exploration and extension of the gold mineralisation beyond the current JORC (2012) Mineral Resource. This extension would result in a significant increase in the underground mining inventory and enable the delivery of a pre-feasibility study for a high-tonnage, low-impact underground-mine at the Sturec Gold Mine.

The objective of the surface drilling program was to explore the region beneath the prior drilling site STOR 3.11, which revealed a thick mineralized zone with a grade of 6.9g/t Au and 23.6g/t Ag over 89.0m from a depth of 114m to 203m down hole. The cut-off grade applied for this intersection was 3g/t Au.
