Market Alert: ASX200 at Critical Support – Reversal or Further Fall?
MetalsTech Limited (ASX: MTC) has announced an extension of the settlement date for the sale of approximately 17.9% of its issued capital to a significant private mining investor. The revised settlement deadline is now on or before 31 July 2025. The total consideration for the transaction is AU$18.54 million, equating to approximately AU$0.53 per share.
The purchaser has committed an additional AU$2.8 million in non-refundable deposits, bringing total deposits paid to AU$3.76 million. As part of the deal, the debt owed by MTC to Minerva has been assigned to the sellers, while MTC retains access to an undrawn AU$5 million Working Capital Loan Facility. If the buyer fails to complete the purchase by the revised date, deposits will be forfeited. Meanwhile, MTC continues advancing its 2.7Moz Sturec Gold Project in Slovakia, with its Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) expected by year-end. Further updates on PFS progress and site visits are forthcoming.
