Memphasys Advances Livestock Reproductive Health with RoXsta

Memphasys Limited (ASX: MEM), a leader in reproductive biotechnology, is expanding its RoXsta™ antioxidant assay system for livestock applications. A recent pilot study in heifers demonstrated RoXsta™'s ability to accurately measure antioxidant levels, validating its technical functionality, though no direct link to pregnancy outcomes was found. Importantly, the study highlighted more promising applications in bulls, where oxidative stress more significantly affects semen quality. A new large-scale bull fertility study, backed by a multinational veterinary pharmaceutical partner, is set to commence with 120 bulls. RoXsta™ also showed early potential in detecting mastitis in dairy cattle—a condition affecting 17% of global dairy cows—offering prospects for timely intervention and reduced losses.
