Maximus Resources Receives Exploration Tax Credits through JMEI

Jul 11, 2023

Maximus Resources Limited (ASX:MXR) has been granted A$1,125,000 in exploration tax credits for the 2023/24 income year through the Federal Government's Junior Minerals Exploration Incentive (JMEI). The JMEI program aims to encourage investment in Australian greenfield mineral exploration by allowing exploration companies to relinquish a portion of their tax losses for potential distribution to eligible investors. This allocation of tax credits will provide financial support to Maximus Resources as it conducts exploration activities.

The company expresses its gratitude to the Commonwealth of Australia for implementing the JMEI and acknowledges the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) for its dedicated efforts in advocating for this initiative. The JMEI scheme is designed to incentivize investment in exploration companies and promote mineral exploration in Australia.
