Jul 16, 2024

Maximus Resources Limited (ASX: MXR) has received up to AU$1,050,000 in tax credits through the Federal Government's Junior Minerals Exploration Incentive (JMEI) Scheme for the 2024/25 financial year. The scheme incentivizes investment in greenfield mineral exploration in Australia, allowing exploration companies to allocate tax losses to eligible shareholders who acquire newly issued Maximus shares. These shareholders may receive refundable tax credits or franking credits distributed pro rata. The company appreciates the support of the Australian government and the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies for promoting the JMEI scheme.
