Mark Chellew steps down as CWY Chairman on Sep. 20; Philippe Etienne takes over

Cleanaway Waste Management Limited (ASX: CWY) reports Mark Chellew's retirement as Chairman effective September 20, 2023. Philippe Etienne will assume the role of Chairman on that date. Philippe Etienne, a Cleanaway Board member since May 2014, chaired the Sustainability Committee since 2015 and became Deputy Chairman in June 2023. Mr. Etienne presently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Aristocrat Leisure Limited and Lynas Rare Earths Limited.

Mark Chellew's remarkable contributions to Cleanaway over the past decade are noteworthy. These achievements encompassed the acquisitions of Toxfree and the Sydney Resource Network, the formulation of the Footprint 2025 Strategy, and the execution of the Blueprint 2030 Strategy.
