Lindian Resources Limited (ASX: LIN) and C&D Logistics Group have entered a six-year Supply Agreement for the procurement of 23 million Wet Metric Tonnes (WMT) of bauxite from Lindian's Gaoual Bauxite Project. This partnership is supported by C&D Logistics, a subsidiary of Xiamen C&D Inc, a reputable China-based conglomerate listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The Agreement includes fixed annual volumes until 2030, with pricing subject to annual negotiations.
The Gaoual Bauxite Project's quality and potential scale led to its selection by C&D Logistics. It holds an estimated high-grade tonnage of 84 million tonnes at 51.2% Al2O3. With the Supply Agreement secured, Lindian is well-positioned to develop its Gaoual Bauxite Project and establish logistics infrastructure in Guinea, anticipating a cost-effective start-up. Additionally, Lindian remains committed to advancing the Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi, with pending assay results and an upcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
