Legend Mining (ASX: LEG) resumed field activities at the Rockford Project in July 2024 after delays caused by heavy rainfall. Key drillholes confirmed mineralization outside the Octagonal Intrusive Complex, resembling Nova-Bollinger-style deposits. An HPFLTEM survey at Magnus was completed in early October 2024, with results released on October 16.
Survey work has now shifted to Area Y for Moving Loop EM surveys. However, a planned visit by Native Title Landholders to the Mawson site was postponed to March 2025 due to further access issues. The Rockford Project, located in Western Australia’s Fraser Range district, holds potential for nickel-copper, copper-zinc-silver, and gold deposits.
