Kleos Observer to launch on the Transporter-6 SpaceX mission

 Kleos Space S.A (ASX: KSS) announced that its fourth satellite cluster; Observer, is scheduled to launch on the Transporter-6 SpaceX mission NET October 2022. The four satellites, which are equipped with AIS, VHF, and X-Band payloads, will help Kleos to expand its data collection capability by up to an additional 119 million km² per day. The launch of its fourth satellite cluster is expected in the September-November timeframe, approximately six months after the launch of its third cluster.

The company recently declared that it had signed a Cooperative Research and Development deal with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Division, Crane, for joint data experimentation. Under this deal, the Company would provide its radio frequency geolocation data in realistic test scenarios to enhance maritime domain awareness for real-world challenges, comprising:

• sanctions reporting
• embargo
• transshipment monitoring
• search and rescue
• resource management
• fisheries control
• Smuggling
• border control.

In addition, Kleos received purchase orders & contracts over the past two months, which are valued at just more than EUR 1 million for expected delivery & payment in the current and next quarter.
