Key Environmental Approval Obtained for the Jaguar Nickel Project

Centaurus Metals (ASX: CTM) announced that its 100%-owned Jaguar Nickel Sulphide Project in Pará, northern Brazil, has been granted the key Installation Licence by the State Environmental Agency, Semas. This crucial approval allows the Company to commence construction of the nickel concentration plant and associated infrastructure, including pits, dams, and waste piles.

The LI also covers vegetation clearing, essential water permits, and fauna management during construction. Valid until March 2029, the licence positions Centaurus to move forward once suitable funding is secured, and a Final Investment Decision is made. The powerline LI, granted in February 2024, also enables construction to proceed once engineering and land agreements are finalized. The Company has also secured key mining easements, facilitating negotiations with landowners.
