Jumbo Interactive Limited (ASX: JIN) has officially announced the successful extension of its 'Powered by Jumbo' (PBJ) software license agreement with Lotterywest, the state government-owned and operated lottery organization in Western Australia. This extension marks a significant development as it spans a four-year term, commencing on November 9, 2023.
Under the terms of this renewed agreement, a revised license fee structure has been established. Jumbo's Software as a Service (SaaS) business segment will now receive a service fee based on gross ticket sales. Specifically, this fee structure entails an 8.0% share of gross ticket sales for amounts up to AU$35 million and a 9.0% share for sales exceeding AU$35 million. Moreover, this extended collaboration encompasses the continuation of a jointly funded marketing program, reinforcing the mutually beneficial partnership between Jumbo Interactive and Lotterywest.
