Macro Metals Limited (ASX: M4M) has conducted an Induced Polarisation (IP) survey at its Mogul Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au project in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The survey revealed priority bedrock targets below high-grade rock-chip samples and drilling. Previous drilling focused on areas interpreted as up-dip from the conductive response. The results included notable intersections such as 3.65m @ 3.9% Cu, 2.89% Pb, 3.12% Zn, 189 g/t Ag and 0.45m @ 4.35% Cu, 2.2% Pb, 9.45% Zn.
The survey highlighted two key exploration targets: one beneath high-grade mineralization and a larger anomaly west of the known mineralization. The latter represents a substantial untested target. The company plans to secure permits for drilling these high-priority targets to further explore the potential mineralization. The Mogul project is located in an area with potential for multiple clusters of mineralization, suggesting similarities with significant VMS deposits.
