Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) has announced promising assay results from five reverse circulation (RC) drill holes at its Orient Silver-Indium Project in Herberton, North Queensland. Significant intercepts include 7m @ 342.5 g/t Ag Eq. (including 1m @ 1064 g/t Ag Eq.) and 30m @ 86.3 g/t Ag Eq. The drilling program, part of a larger 33-hole initiative, confirms extensive silver-lead-zinc-indium mineralisation at Orient East.
These results bolster Orient East's potential, with further assays expected by early 2025. The company plans to incorporate the data into its geological model for resource estimation and resume drilling post-wet season with expanded operations targeting Orient East, West, and North. With an exploration target of up to 100 Mt @ 55–65 g/t Ag Eq. at Orient West, Iltani believes the project could be Australia’s largest silver-indium deposit, underscoring its scale and strategic importance for critical minerals.
