Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) released the assay results from the reverse circulation drill holes labeled ORR1 to ORR28 at the Orient Project in North Queensland. The drill holes tested the northwest extension of the Orient West vein system and successfully intersected extensive silver-lead-zinc indium mineralization. The mineralization outcrops along the Orient West ridgeline and the drill holes targeted downdip extension and intersected multiple zones of mineralization, supporting Orient’s open pit potential.
The northern part of the Orient West vein system is open to the northeast and down-dip. Based on the mapping, old workings, and geophysical exploration, Iltani estimates the vein system could extend more than 600 meters northeast of ORR28. Iltani’s drilling has defined mineralization at Orient West over at least 1,250meter strike extent and 150meter depth. Results are pending for the remaining seven RC holes completed at Orient West as part of the current drilling program.
