On 19 November 2024, Identitii Limited (ASX: ID8) announced the successful raising of AU$1.8 million (before costs) through a well-supported placement. The placement involved issuing 112.5 million new fully paid ordinary shares at AU$0.016 per share, with strong demand from sophisticated and institutional investors. Additionally, subject to shareholder approval, investors will receive one bonus option for every two new shares, exercisable at AU$0.03 within two years, potentially generating an additional AU$1.7 million. The funds will support the ongoing patent infringement claim against JP Morgan Chase in the U.S, further development of the Identitii platform, and global sales and marketing efforts.
CEO John Rayment emphasized the strong investor confidence in the company’s strategic plans and achievements. The placement was managed by SP Corporate Advisory (Spark Plus), which facilitated significant interest and will receive a 6% fee and options for its role. Identitii continues to enhance payment data connectivity and automation worldwide.
