Icetana AI Secures Landmark Iraq Contract

Icetana AI (ASX: ICE), a provider of AI-driven video analytics software, has landed a major AU$1.7 million contract with High Tech, a leading Iraqi IT security firm. The deal marks icetana’s first sale in Iraq and its largest order to date for its next-gen product. The software, tailored for the Baghdad Safe City project, includes advanced features like facial recognition, license plate detection (Arabic), fire and smoke detection, and behaviour-based analytics. Following successful proof-of-concept testing, the perpetual license and first-year maintenance agreement will be deployed in Q4 FY25. This strategic partnership positions Icetana AI for broader expansion across Iraq, with the potential for national deployments. With over 16,000 cameras installed across 75+ sites in 15+ countries, this contract strengthens icetana’s global footprint. CEO Kevin Brown highlighted the deal as a major milestone, aligning with the company's growth strategy and reflecting strong progress in Middle Eastern markets.
