HyTerra Ltd has secured a lease for 52,000 acres

HyTerra Ltd (ASX: HYT) secured a substantial leasing position in Kansas's highly promising Nemaha Project. This acquisition has expanded its lease position by approximately 13,000 acres, bringing the total to an impressive 52,000 acres, with ongoing efforts to secure even more leases in the area.

The decision to acquire this new leasing area was strategically based on identifying subsurface features in reprocessed seismic lines, which revealed exciting drilling targets related to the Mid-Continent Rift and overlying sedimentary rocks. This expansion is a significant step in diversifying its drilling program, which aligns with the impending vote on the Fortescue subscription agreement at its forthcoming general meeting. The company is actively pursuing additional drilling locations to capitalize on this compelling opportunity.
