High-Tech Metals Limited (ASX: HTM) has reported significant findings from the 2023 field season's Ni-Cu-Co geochemical evaluation of 209 rock samples gathered at the Werner Lake Project in northwestern Ontario. These results are auspicious for the Werner Lake Project, affirming its potential for copper-cobalt (Cu-Co) deposits and the discovery of high-grade nickel sulfide on the surface. Out of the 209 samples collected, twelve showed cobalt or copper grades exceeding 1%, while three exhibited nickel grades surpassing 1%. Further analysis is underway for these samples that exceeded the limits, with results forthcoming.
The targeted rock types encompassed intrusive mafic and ultramafic formations, showcasing varying levels of sulfide content, including pyrite, pyrrhotite, pentlandite, and chalcopyrite, with some semi-massive accumulations. Additionally, copper levels exceeding the limits were assessed through ICP finishing.
