Heavy Rare Earths Limited (ASX: HRE) has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Jason Barnett as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment takes effect immediately and aligns with the company’s focus on advancing its critical minerals portfolio and upcoming exploration activities. Mr. Barnett brings extensive mining industry experience gained over more than two decades, covering exploration, resource development, operational management, and corporate strategy. Throughout his career, he has been involved in developing mineral projects, forming strategic partnerships, and supporting business growth initiatives across Australia and Canada. His professional background also includes identifying and progressing exploration assets that later moved into advanced development stages. The Board views his combination of technical expertise, commercial understanding, and industry relationships as an important asset for the company’s next phase of growth.
