Hawk Resources Expands Near-Surface Copper Footprint at Utah Project

Hawk Resources Limited (ASX: HWK) has reported encouraging assay results from drill hole DD26CT005 at its Cactus Copper-Gold Project in Utah, USA. The latest drilling has extended the known zone of shallow copper mineralisation within the Cactus Corridor and suggests the mineralised system remains open to the northwest. The hole returned a broad mineralised interval of 71.7 metres grading 0.45% copper, starting close to surface, and included higher-grade sections containing significant copper, gold, and silver values. The company also identified a notable molybdenum zone, reinforcing evidence of a larger mineralised system across the corridor. Hawk believes the new data indicates the possibility of a broader copper-bearing body than previously interpreted. Preparations are underway for a new drilling campaign scheduled to begin in July 2026, targeting further extensions along the corridor.
