Hartshead Resources Submits Development Plan for New Gas Offtake Route.

Hartshead Resources NL (ASX: HHR) has submitted a development programme and budget to the P2607 Joint Venture (JV) for approval, proposing a new gas export route via the Saturn Banks pipeline system. The plan includes two unmanned production platforms, six production wells, and a 24-inch pipeline linking the Somerville location to the Bacton Terminal, operated by Perenco. This setup aims to accelerate production and reduce CAPEX by leveraging existing infrastructure and securing external funding for pipeline extensions. 

Discussions on infrastructure funding and platform re-use are well advanced, offering potential cost savings and efficiency gains. The P2607 JV has 90 days to review and vote on the proposal. This development strengthens Hartshead’s presence in the UK Southern North Sea, aligning with its strategy to provide reliable energy solutions while supporting the transition to a low-carbon future.
