Great Dirt Resources Limited (ASX: GR8) reveals the latest rock chip assay results from the Basin Project, a vital part of the company's Doherty and Basin Manganese Project in New South Wales, within tenement EL9527. Initial surveys of manganese occurrences, including small workings and elongated magnetic features, have led to the exciting discovery of significant manganese mineralization at the Basin Project. Samples have been assayed with manganese content of up to 54.5% Mn.
A total of 10 rock chips and 127 soil samples were meticulously collected at the Basin Project, covering both the Basin Farm and Girraween manganese occurrences. These samples were carefully obtained from existing workings and other identified points of interest. Importantly, sighter soil sample lines were strategically used to better define areas and stratigraphy for future exploration, demonstrating its commitment to comprehensive planning.
