Gold Mountain Limited (ASX: GMN) announced that it has collected and received 55 stream sediment samples from the Agua Boa and Bananal Valley tenements in the Salinas II Project. These areas are located along the regional strike from Latin Resources Collina Resource. Assays from the regional stream sediment sampling show peak values of 672 ppm lithium in Bananal Valley and 226 ppm in Agua Boa, with 54 anomalous results out of 55 samples.
There is potential for significantly mineralized LCT pegmatites and multi-element anomalies consisting of Be+Cs+Nb+Rb+Sn+Ta, indicating a high-priority area for follow-up. A future mapping and soil sampling program is proposed to develop drill targets. Landowner access will be obtained for detailed work to establish drill targets, and mapping of exposures in drainages and grid soil sampling will be undertaken to define the sources of the high-order stream sediment anomalies.
