GLN has obtained permits for Phase 1 development of the HMW project

Galan Lithium Limited (ASX: GLN) received the initial permits from the Catamarca Ministro - Ministerio de Mineria (Mines Department Minister) on 23 June 2023 for the Phase 1 development of their Hombre Muerto West lithium brine project. These permits enable Galan to proceed with pre-construction activities, including setting up a new camp, removing topsoil, and conducting preliminary testing to ensure the quality of the ground.

Completing these activities will pave the way for the accelerated construction of Phase 1 ponds. Recent updates reveal that topsoil removal for pond construction has already begun, and the permit covers all the necessary earthworks for ground pond testing. Complete construction permits are expected to be obtained, and Phase 1 pond construction is projected to commence in the third quarter of the calendar year 2023.
