Gibb River Diamonds Limited acquired uranium projects in Namibia.

Gibb River Diamonds Limited (ASX: GIB) announced the acquisition of two projects in Namibia, Africa. The Erongo Project spans 47.6 kilometers, and the Kunene Project covers 1,780 kilometers, encompassing six Exclusive Prospecting Licenses. GIB’s Erongo Project is positioned in the Erongo Uranium District, a significant uranium-producing region worldwide. The Erongo permits show high potential for calcrete-palaeochannel hosted uranium deposits.

The Koppies North Prospect focuses on extending the Koppies Resource further north, cut off by the GIB permit boundary. The Canyon Prospect is targeting calcrete uranium mineralization within a confined palaeo-valley, resembling the scale and setting of the Langer Heinrich uranium deposit. This target area has not been drilled yet.
