GIB Mining Progresses Edjudina Gold Project Toward Commercialization.

GIBB river diamonds limited (ASX: GIB) is advancing the Edjudina Gold Project (100% owned) in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, focusing on monetizing the Neta Prospect JORC Resource of 378,000 tonnes @ 1.9g/t for 24,000 Oz Au, including 110,000 tonnes @ 2.2g/t for 8,000 Oz Au. A Mining Benefits Agreement (MBA) with the Wangkatja Tjungula Aboriginal Corporation (WTAC) is under review by the Nyalpa Pirniku native title holders, with a decision expected in mid-December 2024. 

Granting of mining lease application M31/495 and submission of a Mining Proposal to WA Mines Department are planned for early 2025, contingent on MBA approval. Supporting activities include fauna and flora surveys, rock characterisation tests, and heritage surveys.  GIB aims to establish a Mine and Haul operation at the Neta Prospect, leveraging toll treatment at a third-party mill. Initial discussions with a private WA group specializing in gold mining operations are underway to expedite commercialization efforts.
