Gas Exploration Success near South African Energy Infrastructure

Kinetiko Energy Ltd (ASX: KKO), an Australian gas explorer and developer operating in South Africa, has successfully completed two core holes, 272-06C and 272-08C, near the Secunda refinery. Wireline logging results indicate significant sandstone gas intervals in both wells, increasing the confidence in the potential development of a gas field close to major South African energy infrastructure.

The company plans to drill two more core holes in the area in the coming week, completing a series of six core wells. The logging results show substantial gas-bearing sediments and a higher ratio of gassy sandstone compared to other areas explored by the company. These positive findings are expected to attract potential off-takers for gas production.
