Galan Secures Funding and Offtake Agreement with Authium for HMW Phase 1.

Galan Lithium Limited (ASX:GLN) has secured a significant funding and offtake agreement with US-based Authium Limited to advance Phase 1 of its Hombre Muerto West (HMW) project in Argentina. The deal includes a US$6 million prepayment and the sale of 45,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) over 6–12 years. Authium will also fund, supply, and operate the processing technology at HMW, substantially lowering Galan’s capital and operating costs. Concurrently, Galan has secured around AU$13 million via a share placement and plans to initiate a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) to raise up to an additional AU$4 million. The capital raised will be allocated towards completing the remaining construction work for Phase 1, keeping the company on track to begin lithium production in the first half of 2026. These funds will support the final construction stages ahead of planned production in the first half of 2026. The partnership marks a strategic milestone, reinforcing investor confidence and strengthening Galan’s transition into a lithium producer with reduced financial and technical risk.
