Heavy Minerals Limited (ASX: HVY) has obtained a Letter of Support (LoS) from Atradius Dutch State Business (Atradius), confirming potential project finance support for the Port Gregory Project. Atradius, acting on behalf of the Dutch Government's official Export Credit Agency (ECA), will conduct due diligence to evaluate ensuring export financing for the project.
The Port Gregory capital expenditure, estimated at AU$110 million, may be eligible for Dutch ECA cover based on the supply content provided by Royal IHC. ECA cover typically offers favorable debt financing terms, including competitive market rates and repayment terms.
Heavy Minerals Limited has been working with IHC Mining, a subsidiary of Royal IHC, as its project study consultant for the Port Gregory Project. IHC has sought investment finance support from the Dutch State through Atradius. Atradius provides insurance and guarantee products to promote Dutch exports and assist exporters in securing export transactions.
