Frontier Energy Raises AU$11.5 Million to Advance Waroona Renewable Energy Project
Frontier Energy Limited (ASX: FHE) has secured AU$11.5 million in firm commitments via a placement of 46 million shares at AU$0.25 each. Investors will also receive one option for every two shares, exercisable at AU$0.40 with a two-year term. The raise was priced at a 3.85% discount to the previous close and a 10.6% discount to the 10-day VWAP.
Funds will be used to complete Frontier’s debt-financing process and satisfy the security-deposit requirements under the Reserve Capacity Mechanism for Stage One of the Waroona Renewable Energy Project. The mechanism is expected to underpin stable revenue through capacity payments in addition to earnings from future energy sales. Settlement of shares is scheduled for mid-December, with director participation to be voted on at a January 2026 general meeting. The placement positions Frontier to progress Stage One toward financing completion.
