Forrestania Resources Ltd (ASX: FRS) has unveiled significant findings from rock chip samples in Eastern Goldfields. Breakthrough results from pegmatite rock chips at Breakaway Dam (E29/1037) reveal remarkably high lithium and LCT pathfinder values. Elevated lithium levels, coupled with low Mg/Li ratios (<30) and Nb/Ta ratios (<8), point to the promising potential for extensive, fertile pegmatites spanning approximately 22km across previously unexplored granite and greenstone areas.
Notable findings include FR000832 with 1,695ppm Li (3,649ppm Li2O or 0.4% Li2O), FR000853 with 1,345ppm Li (2,896ppm Li2O or 0.3% Li2O), and FR000805 with 483ppm Li (1,040ppm Li2O or 0.1% Li2O). The discovery of robust LCT pathfinder results within Li-enriched pegmatite rock chips further enhances the project's prospects. Forrestania Resources focuses on multi-commodity prospects across eighteen tenements in the strategically situated Eastern Goldfields area, extending north of Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie.
