Flynn Gold Limited (ASX: FG1) has reported high-grade silver-lead-zinc assay results from its first-pass reconnaissance rock chip sampling at the 100%-owned Henty Project in Western Tasmania, near Zeehan. A recent historical data review and field programs identified several silver-lead workings, with nine out of 17 collected samples returning assay results exceeding 10 ounces per tonne of silver (311g/t Ag). Notable sample results include AV007 with 1,120g/t Ag, 52.1% Pb, and 3.1% Zn, and AV016 with 777g/t Ag and 50.9% Pb.
These results highlight significant mineralisation potential, with some prospects not explored since the 1980s. Flynn Gold aims to apply modern exploration techniques to unlock discoveries. Exploration activities are accelerating, with fieldwork assessing multiple high-grade silver-lead-zinc vein trends. Planning and permitting for drilling at the Mariposa and Silver King prospects are also underway, positioning the company for further exploration success.
