Fluence Secures Contract for Water Treatment System in Saudi Arabia

Fluence Corporation Limited (ASX: FLC), a prominent player in water treatment solutions, is excited to share the news of landing a significant AU$3.6 million contract in Saudi Arabia. The contract entails providing an advanced containerized ultra-pure water treatment and demineralization system for the Rabigh Power Plant operated by the Saudi Electric Company. This marks the third collaboration within a year between Fluence and its esteemed partner, El Sewedy Electric PSP, showcasing a solid and enduring working relationship. The project is set to kick off promptly, with the system expected to be up and running by May 2025. The Rabigh Power Plant project, situated in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, will see the construction of a cutting-edge combined cycle power plant in its initial phase, boasting a net capacity of 1,200 MW + 15%.

Fluence's contribution to the project will include a water pretreatment and demineralization system, leveraging its innovative NiroboxTM containerized treatment technology to ensure efficient and reliable water treatment processes within the plant's operations. This contract underscores Fluence's expertise in providing tailored water treatment solutions and highlights its commitment to advancing sustainable and efficient water management practices in critical infrastructure projects globally.
