Firetails Yalgoo Drill Program Validates Uninterrupted Continuity of LCT Pegmatites

Firetail Resources Limited (ASX: FTL) has issued an update on its Yalgoo Lithium Project in Western Australia, detailing the outcomes of its recent drilling effort at the Johnson Well Prospect. The Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling program, consisting of 22 holes and covering 589 meters, followed up on promising rock chip sample results. Significantly, pegmatites were encountered in 3 out of 4 drill sections, extending approximately 150 meters along the strike length and demonstrating continuity down-dip for about 120 meters.

Noteworthy assay results were obtained, such as 3 meters with 0.83% LiO2 from 32 meters, including 1 meter at 1.16% LiO2 from 34 meters in hole JWRC-0005. Notably, the deepest pegmatite intersection in the eastern-most section exhibited the most favourable assay outcomes. The pegmatite intersections remain open down-dip, prompting plans for subsequent RC drilling to expand exploration towards the northeast and assess these pegmatites at greater depths.
