First Au Limited (ASX: FAU) has officially received regulatory approval from Earth Resources and Regulation ("ERR") for its proposed bulk sampling work plan at the Snowstorm Gold Project in East Gippsland, Victoria. This endorsement marks a significant milestone, paving the way for FAU to proceed with the planned activities without further modifications, as ERR has accepted FAU's submitted work plan.
With this obstacle overcome, FAU will now focus on fulfilling the remaining permitting requirements, aiming to complete them by the end of the year. The planned underground bulk sampling will enable FAU to conduct detailed mapping of the Snowstorm Gold Project, enhancing their understanding of mineralization grade and geological continuity. The primary goal is to assess the project's economic potential, with the added advantage of creating more extensive underground access for future exploration drilling, allowing FAU to further develop the project's scale.
