EVR secures community agreement for the Don Enrique project

EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) has reached a significant milestone in the development of the Don Enrique copper project by securing a binding agreement with the local community of Quero in Jauja, Peru. This agreement, facilitated through their Peruvian subsidiary Minera Montserrat S.A.C (EVR 50%), is crucial as Peruvian regulations mandate community approval for drilling applications.

The agreement not only supports the drilling permit application for Don Enrique but also entails EVR's commitment to make investments in the community over the next two years. Over the past year, EV Resources has demonstrated its dedication to fulfilling its obligations, establishing a cooperative relationship with the Quero community. The company successfully conducted productive community engagement meetings, and they are now in the final stages of preparing the drilling application permit for submission.
