EV Resources received significant rare earth results at Khartoum Project

EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) has reported significant rare earth element (REE) results from drilling and rock chip sampling at its Khartoum Project in North Queensland. The recent assessment of results identified a high ratio of heavy REO, including 62% (with 1680ppm Y203) and 81% (with 2310ppm Y203), and a high ratio of magnetic REO, with 15 samples greater than 20%.

The rock chip values were as high as 6993ppm and 5782ppm TREO, while the drilling results showed 8m at 2096ppm and 2m at 3093ppm TREO. The samples were initially collected during the company's exploration efforts to define tin and tungsten mineralisation. Elevated REE samples were collected in areas of significant Sn and W sample results, from five different prospect areas. The results suggest the potential for significant rare earth mineralisation at the project.
