EV Resources acquires Golden Eagle Claims in Arizona

EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) has acquired 18 unpatented claims covering 370 acres in the Cienega District of La Paz County, Arizona, through a joint venture with MineOro Explorations LLC. The newly acquired Golden Eagle Claims are located 13 kilometres from the company’s New Pride Project and cover a copper-gold project that was intermittently mined for copper until the 1920s.

The project has numerous outcrops and old workings on 6km of mineralised structures. The consolidation of land in the Cienega District continues and the project will now be called the “la Cienega Project”. The Cienega District has a history of yielding small copper and gold mines. The acquisition is in line with EVR’s focus on developing its copper portfolio, with the company recently stating its intention to become a leading North American copper producer.
