EQ Resources Limited (ASX: EQR) has taken a strategic step to expand its exploration footprint in Far North Queensland through the planned acquisition of the Hodgkinson tenement package. The transaction includes six exploration licences situated near the company’s Mt Carbine tungsten operation, providing access to a sizeable landholding with recognised exploration potential. Historical work across the area has highlighted occurrences of tungsten and gold, making the package a natural fit within EQ Resources’ broader regional growth plans.
