EQ Resources Limited (ASX: EQR) announced key leadership changes to align with its growth strategy and enhance operational focus. Effective 01 April 2025, Kevin MacNeill, current CEO, will transition to the Chief Technical Officer role, working reduced hours due to personal reasons. This shift allows Kevin to leverage his extensive technical expertise to optimize production and recovery rates at the Saloro operations in Spain and the Mt Carbine expansion in Australia.
Since joining EQR in 2019, Kevin's leadership has been pivotal in establishing the company as the largest tungsten concentrate producer in the Western world. Chair Oliver Kleinhempel praised Kevin's dedication and contributions, emphasizing the importance of his ongoing role in ensuring operational excellence. EQR's Board is actively working to strengthen its leadership team to support growth initiatives, including potential M&A opportunities and strategic projects like the Wolfram Camp Mine.
