Energy Resources of Australia Ltd: Interim Court Order on Jabiluka Mineral Lease

Aug 09, 2024

Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ASX: ERA) has received an interim order from the Federal Court of Australia stating the decision to refuse the Jabiluka Mineral Lease renewal. This decision and its enforcement are now on hold pending further court orders. The matter will proceed to a case management hearing on 19 August 2024, where a timetable for ERA’s case will be set. Until then, the Jabiluka Mineral Lease remains valid. ERA will keep shareholders updated on its continuous disclosure obligations.

The Jabiluka Mineral Lease is significant to ERA’s operations, and the court’s decision temporarily halts any immediate impact from the refusal. ERA remains committed to maintaining open communication with shareholders as the legal proceedings advance.
