Eclipse Metals Confirms Deep High-Grade Rare Earth Mineralisation at Ivigtut Project.

Eclipse Metals Ltd (ASX: EPM) has reported exceptional laboratory results from core samples at its flagship Ivigtut Project in southwest Greenland, confirming high-grade rare earth element (REE) mineralisation at the Gronnedal Prospect. Analysis by SGS Laboratories revealed significant Total Rare Earth Oxide (TREO) values, with one drillhole yielding 2.01% TREO. The results underline the presence of key magnetic and critical REEs like Neodymium (Nd), Praseodymium (Pr), and Dysprosium (Dy), essential for decarbonisation technologies.

The findings, extending mineralisation to depths over 200 meters, suggest a larger, higher-grade resource potential beyond the current shallow Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). These results also validate Eclipse’s HyperXRF data and will fast-track resource expansion studies. Additionally, mineralogical analyses indicate two styles of REE enrichment, offering dual exploration pathways. Eclipse is now advancing feasibility work, aiming to solidify Ivigtut as a globally strategic REE source.
