E25 Partners with Nissan Chemical for HPMSM Facility in Japan

E25 (ASX: E25) has entered a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with Nissan Chemical Corporation (NC) and NC Tokyo Bay Corporation (NCTB) to conduct a Feasibility Study for a High Purity Manganese Sulphate Monohydrate (HPMSM) facility in Chiba, Japan. Key synergies identified include sulphuric acid supply, as NCTB operates a sulphuric acid plant that can provide essential materials for the project. Additionally, NCTB has substantial ancillary infrastructure, utilities, and services that can benefit the HPMSM facility. The site in Tokyo Bay features private berths capable of handling both liquid and bulk cargo, enhancing logistical efficiency. This collaboration aims to leverage E25's low-emission technology and NCTB's existing resources to establish a competitive HPMSM production facility, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable battery materials in the electric vehicle industry.
