Dundas Minerals (ASX: DUN) continues to receive positive exploration results for rare earth elements (REEs) from various ASX-listed companies, including Metal Hawk Limited, which have conducted REE-specific exploration programs in neighboring exploration licenses. In early June 2023, Dundas Minerals exercised its option to obtain complete ownership (100%) of exploration license E63/2063 from Golden Camel Mining Limited, an unlisted public company.
The license is situated within the Dundas project area, which shares the company's name and has a history of gold exploration conducted by AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited from 2012 to 2014. Following the transfer of ownership, Dundas Minerals now holds the license. The northwest soil sampling program, completed in April 2023, has provided assay results and an independent analysis and interpretation of the data. Although no significant geochemical anomalies were identified, the obtained dataset offers valuable insights for the company.
