Drilling started on Lucky Fox-2

TMK Energy Limited (ASX: TMK) provided an update on the ongoing Pilot Well Drilling Programme at the Gurvantes XXXV CSG Project (TMK 67%, Talon Energy 33%) in the South Gobi Basin of Mongolia. In the Nariin Sukhait region of the Gurvantes XXXV CSG Project, Lucky Fox - 2 (LF-02), the second of three planned pilot production wells, started drilling late on May 3, 2023.

The Gurvantes XXXV project partner of TMK, Talon Energy Limited, is the main contributor to the Pilot Well Programme. Early in December 2022, Talon made the decision to enter Stage 2 of the Farmout Agreement. Talon is contributing the first US$3.15 million of the estimated US$3.5 million in expenditures, with TMK and Talon each contributing their proportionate share of the remaining costs.
