Cygnus Metals Reports Strong Drilling Results at Chibougamau Copper-Gold Project

Cygnus Metals Limited (ASX: CY5) has announced strong drilling results from its ongoing resource growth and conversion strategy at the Chibougamau Copper-Gold Project in Quebec, Canada. Infill drilling at Corner Bay returned intervals up to 5.6% CuEq, supporting resource classification upgrades, while exploration drilling outside the resource intersected grades up to 9.7% CuEq. A new high-grade target, Colline, has been identified less than 100m from the surface, including 8.6m @ 2.3% CuEq from 95m. Colline is located within 4km of the company’s 100%-owned processing facility.

The company continues drilling with two rigs and refines targets using downhole electromagnetics. Executive Chairman David Southam emphasized the project’s strong continuity, exploration upside, and potential to uncover more mineralization using modern 3D data analysis. With promising Corner Bay and Colline results, Cygnus is on track to expand its high-grade copper-gold portfolio and upgrade resource categories.
