Core Lithium Ltd has reported new high-grade lithium drilling results within 20 kilometers of Grants

Nov 06, 2024

Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO) announced significant progress in the exploration drilling program at the fully-owned Finniss Lithium Project. Recent assay results from reverse circulation drilling reveal extensive zones of spodumene mineralization at the Blackbeard prospect. These promising findings and prior results from the nearby Centurion prospect confirm robust mineralized pegmatites along a distinctly defined strike length within its existing mining lease.

The exploration strategy at Finniss is centered on identifying large-scale pegmatite targets that can drive lower-cost production. It presents results from 27 drill holes, encompassing 4,880 meters of drilling across several prospects, all situated within 20 kilometers of the Grants Processing Facility. The Blackbeard Prospect spans up to 45 meters wide and remains open at depth. It is committed to conducting further drilling to fully determine the scale of this promising system, which will contribute to future Mineral Resource Estimates and may play a crucial role in its ongoing restart studies.
