Solis Minerals Limited (ASX: SLM) has made significant progress in its exploration at the Cinto Project in Peru, identifying extensive copper porphyry mineralisation. Located 15km southeast of the Toquepala Copper Mine, Cinto shares key geological similarities with some of the region’s largest porphyry copper deposits. Recent sampling results highlight impressive mineralisation, including 23.4m @ 0.88% Cu and 16.83m @ 0.52% Cu.
Strong geochemical correlations and an enormous magnetic low anomaly indicate widespread hydrothermal alteration, suggesting the potential for large-scale copper mineralisation across 1.75 square kilometres. With an Induced Polarisation survey in planning and drill target definition underway, Solis aims to commence drilling at Cinto in H2 2025, complementing its upcoming drilling at Chancho al Palo and Ilo Este later this quarter. These advancements reinforce Solis Minerals’ growing copper portfolio and its commitment to unlocking high-value copper assets in Peru.
